Sunday in Beijing

This morning we had a meeting with all of the other families who are here to adopt, and we got updated information on Brodie, with a lot of pictures of him!! These are some of my favorite pictures, and the pretty book that it all came in! His hair is getting long, looks like I need to get some hair gel and spike it!!! These pictures are so much clearer than the ones we got over the internet, and we can see his birthmarks so much better than before.Tomorrow at 4:00 he will be with us finally!!!!!
We toured the Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City which are right next to each other. We felt like rock stars today when a Chinese family was taking their picture outside of the Forbidden City, and stopped us and wanted Curt & I to be in their picture too!! We almost lost our tour group because it was taking a while for the lady to take the picture!
The Forbidden City is huge, and the buildings are beautiful, these pictures do not do it justice. We had a big lunch at the hotel today, where they brought out several different dishes and put on a big lazy susan on our table. Curt got plenty to eat and drink, and I went very hungry. The white rice was ok. Tonight we are going to walk down to the street market, and maybe to the big shopping mall. We leave our hotel at 9:30 in the morning for the airport!! Our flight is at 11:55 and will arrive in Fuzhou at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon!!!! We will get Brodie at 4:00 at our hotel!!!!
